These Terms of Service (hereafter "Terms") govern your use of the Chrome extension "Zevr Guard" (hereafter "the Service") provided by Zevr (hereafter "we" or "us"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About the Service
- The Service is a Chrome extension that visualises browser traffic and automatically blocks connections to known malware, phishing, tracker, and advertising domains.
- The features, data sources, and behaviour of the Service may be changed, added to, or removed without prior notice.
2. License
- The source code of the Service is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). Reuse, modification, and redistribution of the source code are governed by that license.
- These Terms apply independently to the binary distribution of the Service (e.g. the version installed via the Chrome Web Store).
3. Fees
- The core features ("Free plan") are provided at no charge.
- We may offer additional features under paid "Pro" and "Team" plans in the future. Pricing and payment terms for those tiers will be disclosed separately.
4. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Interfere with, degrade, or disrupt the operation of the Service;
- Exploit vulnerabilities in the Service or surrounding infrastructure for unauthorised purposes;
- Engage in any other behaviour we reasonably determine to be harmful to us, other users, or third parties.
5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
- We are not liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, except where required by law.
- The Service attempts to detect and block known threats but cannot guarantee the detection or interception of every dangerous connection. You remain responsible for your own security hygiene.
6. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where practicable, or without notice where required by security, legal, or technical considerations.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court (Tokyo, Japan) as the court of first instance.
